3D and product design, augmented by Astra.
The method behind RIPS, in three tools: a 3D pack modelled in Blender that runs live in the browser, a real prototype built with GPT6 Astra to test every gesture in hand, and Figma for the detail.

One model
One foil pack, modelled in Blender, dresses every tier and every universe.
The pack you tilt in the prototype is the 3D model itself, loaded live in the browser, not a rendered video. Each tier and each universe is an artwork mapped on that same foil, so a change to the model reaches every pack at once.
- The modelA foil laminate, in its third version, loaded live by the prototype.
- The skinsTwelve artworks, one per tier and universe, swapped on the same foil.
- The atmosphereEach tier brings its own backdrop behind the pack: a blue haze, a fire glow, a violet sky.

Each universe opens on its own fan of three packs
The gestures
The rip is a sequence of gestures, and each one was tried in hand before it stayed.
- Drag to tiltOn the pack screen, the 3D pack follows the finger.
- Slide to openPaying for a pack is a slide, not a button.
- Pull the tab to ripThe tear starts at the seal, where a real pack opens.
- Release to settleThe card arrives in its graded slab, then settles.

The detail
Between rounds, Figma took the UI down to the fine print, the part that keeps the excitement honest.
