FFCC by FFF
The French Football Federation's official coach-certification platform: desktop-first, with an AI coach that has read every course. Fifty-plus screens, shipped in two months.

Overview
FFCC, the French Football Coaching Center, is the FFF's official certification platform: coaches browse the catalog of formations, study module by module, pass the quizzes and official evaluations, and earn a numbered, recognized certification.
I designed the whole product: the desktop-first app, its mobile version now live on iOS, and the admin console behind it (the part you don't see). Fifty-plus screens, delivered in two months.
Delivered as design contractor for Axelerio, a company founded by a Y Combinator alumnus, building the platform for the federation.
Designed the whole product: desktop, mobile and admin console
50+ screens inside the federation's pre-imposed charter
Drove the desktop-first call and the prototype-first process
The problem
A federation doesn't hand you a blank page. The logo had to go through official FFF validation, the platform had to live inside their pre-imposed brand charter, and the whole thing, catalog, reader, quizzes, payments, certificates, admin, had two months to ship. Institutional constraints and startup speed, at once.
Research & approach
The constraint came first: a federation doesn't hand you a blank page. The logo had to clear official FFF validation and every screen had to live inside their pre-imposed charter, so the real work was designing freedom and modernity inside tight institutional rails. I went desktop-first, because coaches genuinely sit down to earn a certification: a full-width catalog, a document-style module reader, quizzes and official evaluations built for the big screen, then the same journey carried to mobile. And before a line of code, I built a hybrid Figma + AI prototype and click-tested the real flow, catalog to course to module to quiz, so navigation was fixed on how coaches actually move, not on assumptions.
- Design inside the railsThe logo went through official FFF validation and every screen lives inside their pre-imposed charter. The craft was finding freedom and modernity inside institutional constraints, not around them.
- Prototype before codeA hybrid Figma + AI prototype let me click-test the real journey, catalog to course to module to quiz, before development. The navigation was reworked on how coaches actually moved, not on a guess.
- Desktop-first, then carriedBuilt for the big screen where coaches genuinely study, then taken to iOS and to the admin console that runs it all. Fifty-plus screens across desktop, mobile and admin, shipped in two months.

Design decisions

Desktop-first, like real study.
Coaches sit down for a certification: full-width catalog, a document-style reader, quizzes, official evaluations, payments. Built for the big screen first, with the admin console running the whole machine behind it.

An AI that has read every course.
"My AI Coach" ships inside the platform and already knows all the formations: ask it about a U13 warm-up and it answers from the actual course, in context, with a metered quota.

Same journey, in your pocket.
The desktop platform carried to a real mobile app, dashboard, formations, certificates, published on iOS with the "By the FFF, for coaches" storefront.

Outcomes
Two months, one federation, one shipped platform.
A national federation put its name on my design.
